Our team is currently responding to the after-effects of Hurricane Helene throughout the Gulf Coast, the Carolinas and East Tennessee. We are also preparing for Hurricane Milton in the state of Florida.
All dock pickups, contractual expedited shipments as well as guaranteed service shipments are suspended in the state of Florida through Friday, October 11, 2024.
All contractual expedited shipments as well as guaranteed service shipments are suspended in the Asheville, NC area until further notice. Emergency shipments will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Due to road closures in East TN and Western NC / SC, Averitt has modified service schedules for both inbound and outbound LTL shipments for these facilities: Asheville, NC; Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; Greenville, SC; Hickory, NC; Raleigh, NC; and Charleston, SC. Many Averitt lanes that previously had next day LTL service will now have two-day service. This change is effective until this notice is removed. |
NOTE: Averitt's Asheville, NC facility will reopen with extremely limited service on Monday, October 7, 2024. Averitt customer service will be reaching out to consignees in the area to confirm delivery availability. Service standards throughout the area are currently being adjusted to accommodate.
