Service Center Director Job Description:

• Oversee the management of service center operations by utilizing the strengths of our dock associates and local drivers to meet the needs of our customers.Oversee the management of service center operations by utilizing the strengths of our dock associates and local drivers to meet the needs of our customers.
• Directly manage associates; identify, develop, and retain top talent while preparing team members for certification, advancement, and leadership opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence by focusing on safety, service, productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Work in varying temperature conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods of time as needed.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Averitt's products, services, and transportation solutions.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, communication, and leadership while interacting with customers and associates.
• Proven transportation sales experience, including LTL and TL sales, is required.
• Previous oilfield/oil patch industry experience and knowledge of the oil and gas market is required.
• Ability to identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to expand market share within the assigned region.
