Also referred to as drop trailer services, this logistics strategy delivers a trailer to a shipper and subsequently collects a full truckload trailer when departing. From there it will either be delivered directly to the consignee via truckload services or taken to a service center where it will be deconsolidated and distributed via less-than-truckload services.
