Averitt Express has been recognized as one of Redefining the Road’s 2021 Top Companies for Women to Work For in Transportation. Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT), annually highlights companies that are focused on employing women in the trucking industry.

Every year, carriers around the nation encourage shippers and the general public to celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NDAW).

Readers of Logistics Management magazine have honored Averitt Express as a top transportation and logistics services provider in the publication’s 38th Annual Quest for Quality Awards.

Uline, a major distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials to businesses throughout North America, recently honored Averitt with multiple “Exceptional Performance Awards” for services provided in Georgia, Texas, and Wisconsin. The awards were presented in recognition of Averitt’s ability to meet and exceed the company’s operational needs within the three distribution markets in 2020.

As one way to say thank you to associates for their efforts that have made 2021 an outstanding year, Averitt Express recently celebrated “Operation: Thank You Week” with events taking place at facilities throughout its network.

Averitt has been honored by the Tennessee Trucking Association (TTA) with First Place Safety Awards for the company’s less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload fleets. The two awards were presented at the TTA 90th Annual Convention in September 2020.

Averitt has been awarded the 2020 Clean Diesel Award from the Tennessee Trucking Association (TTA). Presented at the TTA 90th Annual Convention, the award recognizes the transportation and logistics service provider for its efforts in improving fuel conservation and sustainability within in its fleet.

Averitt Express associates combined to give more than 5,000 hours of community service over the course of 2020 as part of its Team Up Community Challenge. Overall, they served 5,342 hours, with 76 facilities across Averitt’s system helping 118 organizations for efforts including clothing, food and toy drives, disaster relief, mask sewing and donations, litter cleanups and blood donations.

Matching a record for its largest-ever contribution, truck drivers and other employees of Averitt Express once again raised $1,000,001 in 2020 that was recently donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
