GEODIS, a global warehousing and third-party logistics company, has named Averitt its 2022 LTL Carrier of the Year. Carriers are judged on a wide variety of criteria, such as on-time pickup and delivery, technology integration, and cargo claims.

Averitt has been named LTL Carrier of the Year by GEODIS multiple times, with the first being in 2020, when it also won Truckload Carrier of the Year.

“Averitt strives to deliver reliable service, and it’s our associates who are the driving force behind maintaining that reputation,” said Kent Williams, Averitt’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re always honored to be recognized for our team’s dedication by partners like GEODIS.”

As the 11th largest LTL carrier in the nation according to a recent ranking by Transport Topics, Averitt’s asset-based LTL distribution network covers more than a dozen states and is supported by over 9,000 drivers and associates across more than 100 locations. Averitt was also recognized by Uber Freight with its 2022 Regional LTL Carrier of the Year award.
