Each year, the Tennessee Trucking Foundation, the charitable arm of the Tennessee Trucking Association, awards six scholarships to children, spouses or employees of TTA member organizations. This is the first time in the program’s seven-year history that all six scholarships have been awarded to Averitt associates or members of their families.

(June 3, 2010) — Averitt Express has announced the beginning of its ‘Ford F-150 4x4 Fuel Duel’ program, an initiative aimed at offering incentives to its associates who follow fuel-efficient practices. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 19, 2010) — The Reliance Network, an award-winning consortium of regional LTL carriers, today announced it has added two new carriers to its cross-continent coverage.

Mountain Valley Express and Peninsula Truck Lines have joined The Reliance Network as providers covering the Western U.S. The two new carriers replace DATS Trucking, which had previously provided service in that region.
