Mastio & Company interviewed more than 2,000 major shippers to identify carriers that excel in meeting their customers’ needs for its 12^th annual LTL Carrier Customer Value/Loyalty Benchmarking Study. The interviews allowed customers to gauge carriers on a number of attributes, including quality of performance, pricing and customer service.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (November 16, 2016) – The Tennessee Trucking Association has awarded Averitt Express with the 2016 Clean Diesel Award and the 2016 Fleet Safety Award.

The Clean Diesel Award recognizes organizations that take action to improve air quality through clean diesel actions. Averitt has been recognized for its ability to reduce air pollution through fuel efficiency efforts and carbon emissions reduction. This is Averitt’s third consecutive year winning this award.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (August 30, 2016) — In the wake of recent flood disaster in Louisiana, the associates of Averitt Express recently made a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund.

The Red Cross is currently using the funds to provide food and shelter to thousands who have been affected by the floods, many of whom have lost their homes and possessions due to the weather-related disasters.
