Transportation and logistics solutions provider also takes high honors nationally

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Mastio & Company, an independent research agency that specializes in the LTL industry, recently honored Averitt Express in three categories of service quality.

Results from the 15^th annual LTL Carrier Customer Value/Loyalty Benchmarking Survey ranked Averitt as the top inter-regional LTL carrier and third nationwide carrier in terms of overall quality. Additionally, Averitt placed second in the survey’s “Most Likely to Recommend” category.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt Express has unveiled a transportation management system (TMS) called Averitt Connect. The transportation and logistics services provider partnered with MyCarrierTMS to provide customers access to a centralized platform to manage all aspects of LTL shipping at no charge.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Over the course of 2019, Averitt Express associates combined to give more than 6,000 hours of community service as part of its Team Up Community Challenge. Overall, they served 6,161 hours, with 94 facilities across Averitt’s system helping 210 organizations for efforts including clothing, food and toy drives, disaster relief, litter cleanups and blood donations.

Averitt Express has opened a new distribution and fulfillment center in Atlanta, GA. Located just minutes from downtown and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the facility encompasses nearly 140,000 square feet of enclosed space to receive, manage, and distribute freight and inventory.
