COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Averitt has been recognized as a 2026 Top Green Fleet by Heavy Duty Trucking for its continued leadership in sustainability and environmental responsibility within the transportation industry.

Averitt was recognized for its combination of fleet technology, alternative fuels, and efficiency-driven operations. In its coverage of the award, Heavy Duty Trucking highlighted Averitt’s network optimization and smarter routing strategies, which have helped reduce fuel use and total miles across the company’s fleet while improving freight efficiency and lowering emissions.
