Our story began in 1971 with three trucks, two associates and a simple goal: to serve others while building something that lasts. Today, Averitt helps move freight around the globe through a network designed to provide reliability, flexibility and peace of mind.

Much has changed over the past five and a half decades, but the principles behind our work remain the same. We continue to believe in being responsive, doing things the right way and earning the trust placed in us with every shipment.

None of this would have been possible without our customers. Your challenges have inspired us to find new solutions. Your partnerships have helped us grow. And every load, lane and opportunity has played a part in shaping the company we are today.
