With the introduction of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), shipping between the United States, Canada and Mexico has introduced new changes to the certificate of origin.
Exporters are no longer required to complete a formal certificate of origin. Instead, they can use informal documentation if all of the required data elements are present.
