COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt has partnered with Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) to provide additional support and resources for military veterans across the state. As part of this effort, Averitt was a sponsor for the organization’s annual Heroes Breakfast in Nashville, one of the largest events OSDTN hosts to raise awareness and contributions for its programs.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt and Chattanooga Bakery once again joined forces to support U.S. service members through the Patriotic Pies program, delivering nearly 115,000 MoonPies to several military and USO locations across the Southeast this year.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Averitt has been honored with the 2025 American Legion Department of Tennessee Large Employer of Veterans Award, recognizing the company’s ongoing commitment to hiring and supporting military veterans. 

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt continued its support of military service members by participating in the "10,000 for the Troops" program organized by New Country 96.3 KSCS in Dallas/Fort Worth. In 2024, Averitt associates collected and shipped more than 18,000 holiday cards to troops overseas. Contributions included 4,000 cards from Averitt's corporate office and additional cards from 17 different facilities, primarily in Texas.
