Averitt Logistics Capabilities in Fort Smith

Hello, my name is Michael Smith. I'm the service center director for Averitt Express in Fort Smith, Arkansas and I wanted to take a little time today to introduce you to our new facility. We have built a state of the art LTL facility here in Fort Smith that not only are our associates extremely proud of but also our community. We wanted to use this video today as a vehicle to kind of get out to you guys of not only what we're so proud of but the capabilities of the Fort Smith Arkansas facility. Fort Smith Arkansas is a thirty two door facility that is brand new, state of the art, has all the bells and whistles, all the technology, security that you could want. We have done something special here at Fort Smith. We have built a ten thousand square foot warehouse that is attached to the LTL dock. We have one hundred and twenty three parking spots as well that we have made available here. This is a eight acre yard that is solid concrete throughout and we are going to market those spots as well to maybe a dedicated operation that someone has in the area and needs a domicile for or maybe it's a truckload carrier that is domiciled their home office maybe in other states but they're needing a presence in western Arkansas or eastern Oklahoma this would fit that need. We are six miles south of I-forty on the Arkansas Oklahoma State Line. We have a full shower capabilities for men and women. We have a break room access, high def TV. We really feel like we can offer a product in this parking and warehouse arena for those folks that maybe don't want to make a major brick and mortar investment in the area. Maybe it's short term need or maybe it's short term until you decide you want to be long term. We have really gone above and beyond with this opportunity for you the customer to maybe venture into this marketplace or maybe to better service the Walmarts of the world or the Tyson for their home offices are in this area.
