Averitt’s 2026 St. Jude Toy Drive

We're at the Memphis Service Center delivering toys with our Region II customers. We've been lucky enough to have so many of our customers donate to charity for these kids at St. Jude. It's all part of Averitt's Team Up Community Challenge. And in this case, we team up with our customers, we pool our resources, and we try to deliver a smile to these children with this donation. And we've been lucky enough that group sales are one of our biggest customers in Cincinnati is able to donate a couple pallets every year to the kids. And it means a lot. One of the ways we're able to partner with Averitt and give back is our toy donation. So this year we donated Rubik's cubes. The thing a lot of people don't realize is these are cancer patients, right? So it's very hygienic. You can't spread germs. Most of these kids need something to play with, take their mind off something and bring them back to normal life where hopefully the kid takes it and it reminds them of, hey, people still care about me while I'm going through all this treatment. And that's why we continue to give individual toys year over year so that they continue to be used each time. It just speaks so much to the culture at Averitt, you know, this focus on not just taking care of our customers, but taking care of our communities. I love that we team up. We help these kids out at St. Jude every year and, we can't wait to see smiles on their face. There's a lot of commentary out there and a lot of people quote and say, what's our nation's biggest gift? And it's our children. And knowing you could come out of St. Jude and say, life's not over. You got some struggles, but we're going to help you get there. And that's huge to keep our nation's biggest gift going. It is such a gift to get to deliver these toys to children. And this initiative makes me proud to be, an Averitt associate. And I think that stands for every associate across the board, whether it's the drivers or the corporate or dock workers. I think we can all be proud of the way we pull together to serve people around us.
