Parker Hannifin recognized Averitt based on several critical success factors. The full-service transportation provider met or exceeded Parker Hannifin’s goal of 97-98 percent on-time performance while handling an average of 1,800 shipments per month across its network, from Texas to Florida to Kentucky.

The Quest for Quality Awards program is regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as one of the most important measures of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (July 29, 2011) — Customers seeking rate quotes from AverittExpress.com now have instant access to guaranteed delivery rates in addition to standard delivery quotes. Averitt introduced the new service in order to address customers' needs for expedited delivery.

The process is simple: customers login to their account on AverittExpress.com and enter their shipping information. Based on the delivery ZIP code, Averitt’s system determines pricing for standard delivery, guaranteed delivery by 5 p.m., and in some cases, guaranteed delivery by noon. Customers can then create a bill of lading online or call Averitt’s National Call Center to schedule the shipment.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2011) — In the wake of recent tornado disasters across the South, the associates of Averitt Express recently made a $20,000 donation to the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund.

The Red Cross is currently using the funds to provide food and shelter to people who were forced to flee their homes due to the weather-related disasters.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (May 4, 2011) — Handy Hardware, a cooperative of independent hardware supply retailers headquartered in Houston, Texas, has selected Averitt Express to provide dedicated contract carriage services.

Under the terms of the contract, Averitt is now providing Handy Hardware with dedicated local and over-the-road transportation of hardware products to retail stores located throughout a five-state region from one of Handy Hardware’s distribution centers located in Houston.
